Future Connected: Leadership Development Programme

THEMES

Community Empowerment

Collaborative Growth

Future Connected is a values-led leadership development programme that aims to empower leaders from grassroots and smaller cultural organisations in Lambeth. The programme focuses on providing them with the necessary tools to grow dynamic businesses that both inspire and represent their communities.

The seven-month Programme includes nine sessions held in major arts venues across Lambeth, such as the National Theatre, Southbank Centre, and the Garden Museum.

PROCESS

Impact Evaluation

Future Connected commissioned us to assess the impact of their programme over a two-year period.

CSC will evaluate the delivery, design and immediate impacts of the programme across ten key outcome areas. We will also evaluate the Programme’s ability to bring about creative collaborations; contribute to the organisations’ financial growth; and its potential to boost long-term economic growth in Lambeth.

Our Approach

The evaluation will take a mixed methods approach, combining interviews with Year 1 Fellows (participants of the Programme) and an analysis of financial and employment projections from the three-year business plans developed by Fellows during the Programme.

Impact

We have created an evaluative report on the outcomes and impacts of the first iteration of Future Connected. We found Future Connected a highly impactful programme that delivers on what it sets out to achieve. Fellows viewed the Programme as well-designed and delivered, affirming that they benefited  from all elements of the Programme. The report also provides recommendations on opportunities for improving the second iteration.

The Year 2 iteration evaluation is due to be completed by April 2024.
